Personalized customer interaction has been a hallmark of V&A Commodity Traders since its inception. V&A Commodity Traders Inc. was formed in September 2006 by Miguel Barg, a long-time veteran of the sugar industry. V&A started selling sugar to Haiti International Traders (H.I.T), one of the largest importers and domestic distributors of sugar in Haiti. At one point, H.I.T. handled approximately 30 to 35% of a 200,000 tons import market. Soon after, V&A slowly started to expand into other markets. A boutique-approach ensures each client is treated with a level of customer service that is second to none.
